As we read this, we are between Thankgivings and Christmas. For some a very emotional time of the year. We remember past experiences with family and friends that make this a very special time. It’s important to spend it with those people who help keep these feelings strong. Our club is one source for that. Many of us have formed long and close feelings with other members of ASHC and other TCI affiliates. We try to remember our family members and close friends during this time. We can also remember those that gave all they had at a time we needed them most. Our Veterans. Connie will have details of the clubs caroling at the VA hospital so if you’re in town please join us. I ask this especially as I’m tone deaf and the Vets would appreciate more voices to drown mine out. If you would really like to have a part of the season, join us at the VA hospital. I’m sure you will be moved by the appreciation of the Vets as much as I was. It will move you, and you will be glad you did it.

Terry is still looking for candidates for certain offices for the December elections. Here is a time when you can do that thing you exclaimed to yourself “if there was something I could do to give back to the Sky High Club I would …!” Do you like to delegate? Arrange parties and get togethers? Like to organize? Run for office! What will you tell someone from another club that you meet at a club function, when they ask you, ”what do you do with the Atlanta club? (Especially if this person is buff and you’re interested.)

I can only wish you the safest and happiest of holidays. Your kindnesses will reward you for the rest of your lives.

May the wind always be at you back,

El Supremo
